Technics SL-B202 Stereo Turntable Hi-Fi Separate Record Player: WORKING & FAULTYWorking, but belt needs replacing, motor makes a noise, poss issue with head/cartridge, and lid has cracks the motor makes a clicking noise when spinning, so this needs some work, other than that the belt is lose - it still keeps good speed, but could do with replacing.The lid has some damage.The sound is weak out of one channel - I believe that this is a problem with the head/cartridge because I swapped it onto another turntable (that has no issues) and on the second turntable this cartridge produced weak sound from one channel.Otherwise in fairly good cosmetic condition! I have tested it with my system and it is sounding quite good (aside form the weak channel). The arm has its head, stylus and counterweight - all as per the photos. Please examine the photos to see what you will receive.I would love collection, but will courier if needed (sorry about the courier fee). thanks for looking

TECHNICS SL-B202 BELT DRIVE SEMI-AUTO TURNTABLE 110-240V TECHNICS U25 CARTRIDGE: new stylus supplied Classic 1980s belt drive turntable. Die cast alloy platter. All auto functions are mechanical and driven by the platter though a cog operated by the switch gear or tonearm trip. Platter mounted on bearing in moulded plinth along with tonearm, fibre board base. Ouput leads to RCA/phono plugs with groundwire. Pitch control with 6% variation.Working order, but motor is noticeably noisy- seen this mentioned elsewhere about this model. Not audible from listening position when music is playing. Stylus pictured is damaged; a new, boxed replacement will be supplied with the deck. The replacement may be a different colour to the original. Used belt is in good condition.Deck itself is in excellent cosmetic condition, plinth is virtually unmarked, except for a fingerprint sized mark on the extreme right side about halfway along. Lid has some scratch marks and fine polishing marks. The hinge on the left side is set into the hinge, looks like it has been glued in place as part of a repair; to remove the lid you have to release the clips that hold the hinges in place from underneath the hinge mounts.Semi-auto: Lifting arm with cuing button and moving arm to platter switches motor on, cuing is manual. Arm lifts and returns at end of a side and motor cuts. Reject during play returns the arm to rest and cuts the motor.
