This listing is for a Parts/Repair Technics SA-400 Stereo Receiver in excellent cosmetic condition. It has been tested and is mostly working, with the exceptions noted below. A short video is included showing basic operation. Rated at 45 watts per channel at 8 ? with ? .004% THD. Overall dimensions approx. 18.25” W x 5.75” H x 11.75” D makes this unit a popular choice where space is at a premium. A copy of the Product Brochure and Operating Instructions will be included. It has been tested/serviced and is mostly working. The following outline covers the work done: · All speaker connections have been tested and are working, both right and left channels · The tuner was tested using a simple wire antenna attached. Both AM and FM stations were received as expected across the radio dial. AM strength meter is working. The Signal strength meter shows no movement even when a station is tuned and the FM Stereo light is on. · The FM Muting switch needs to be left in the OFF position to get normal volume level. When it is engaged, it cuts out about 95% of the volume. · Aux and both Tape inputs/outputs were tested and function as expected. · Phono input was tested and functions as expected. · All Switches and Potentiometers were flushed with contact cleaner, followed by treatment with the appropriate DeoxIt treatment. · The faceplate, dial scale and all knobs were removed, cleaned and hand polished · Radio dial lamps were replaced with Cool Blue LED lamps. · The FM Stereo lamp was working at time of testing – see photos/video. · Cleaning on all exterior surfaces was done to improve appearance · The power cord was inspected and cleaned. · A final extended use test was performed to ensure functionality This listing describes the item to the best of our ability.
