Perfectly balanced Tesla E88CC tube, Crossed Swords (“Saber” logo) -MILspec, NIB, excellent condition, Trinec factoryYou are buying one Tesla E88CC (6DJ8/ECC88) audio tube in excellent working and cosmetic condition, perfectly balanced, never used in white military box. Produced by Tesla - Trinec (factory code 37) and imported as spare parts for military equipment. This is certified by a Czechoslovakian military sign with crossed swords “Saber” logo. We tested the tube on our Tesla tube tester model BM215A, where the “Good” begins at 9.3mA and the 100% is 15.5mA (for each section of E88CC at Ug1= -1.5V and Ea=100V). The tubes scored 24.0mA / 23.0mA, free of shorts and leakage. The heater of the E88CC is 6.3 volts ±5%. We also tested the tube at lower heating voltage of Uf=5.2V to check the lifetime. The tube scored 18.5mA / 17.5mA – over 100% (15.5mA / 15.5mA) which shows extremely robust cathodes and a very, very long lifetime. One of the best tubes for mixing boards, amplifiers and phase inverter stages! These are the real Tesla E88CC made in old Czechoslovakia (before the country was split into two) and not the newer JJ tubes. Tesla E88CC tubes were copies of the 1960s Siemens tubes with Splatter Shield and were relabeled and sold by Siemens, Valvo, Telefunken etc. when the original Western European tubes were no longer available.
