About the RDXV60 The RDXV59 is the best VHS DVD Combo Toshiba ever made. It has digital out, (HDMI), for modern 4k TVs. It has a digital tuner for the modern broadcast signal, (freeview). It supports all DVD types for recording. It even has an internal hard drive, (HDD), for recording broadscast TV. Copying VHS tapes to DVD or the HDD. It couldnt be easier. No old TVs or adapters. Just connect straight to your new TV with the included HDMI cable. Insert a VHS tape. Insert the included blank DVD+R. Press dubbing on the remote. Press stop when done. Simple. THIS MACHINE HAS BEEN SERVICED: The loading mechanism drive belt pictured has been replaced with a new belt. Over time belts wear out and begin slipping, causing tapes to not load, or, eject. The main VHS belts new too. The path the tape film takes through the VHS around the video cylinder has been cleaned with Servisol Video 40 to remove debris and dirt. This offers best playback and removes audio issues. The circular copper switch pictured below resides below the tape deck, inside the machine. It switches the VCR between modes of play and eject. Over time the switches get dirty and dont change position causing tapes to not play and auto eject. Toshiba RDXV60KB 3-in-1 DVD HDD VHS Recorder - VCR Combo FAULTY Turns On. Unit Only, no cables or remote control. Dvd side is working. Disc tray works perfectly. Hdd does not boot up but I am unsure if you need the remote for this. Vhs side accepts tape then the whole unit turns off. Upon turning back on the tape is ejected with no issues. I cannot test the vhs side any further. Overall unit in good condition, just a few faint marks and scratches, nothing noticable. Please see images. Packaged securely for delivery.
