LINN TROIKA MC CARTRIDGE This cartridge sounded amazing and literally took my Linn turntable to the next level. I only had one year happy listening to this and unfortunately on my return from my holidays I found it damaged. I know it can be re-tipped by Goldring and various companies that I wasn’t prepared to do that due to financial difficulties. I’m selling the cartridge as is . I stress that it does have to be sent to be reconditioned, so I guess what I’m selling is a non-working troika, moving coil cartridge.On 20-Jul-23 at 07:00:37 BST, seller added the following information: I was told by someone who pointed out that the cantilever looks broken again I’m not an expert. LINN TROIKA MOVING COIL CARTRIDGE, one of two purchased from Goldring by myself both of which are photographed but only one is listed and for sale, both of which had been fully refurbished by the firm Linn used to re manufacture troikas as part of the cartridge exchange program, work done by David at Goldring who is the acknowledged master on these rebuilds, neither have ever been taken out of its box since purchase other than to take the photographs, I have decided to retain one and release the other to allow another individual to enjoy the benefit of an iconic cartridge which is becoming extremely rare, and rarely available in this condition, I have included a photograph of the original listing from which I purchased this cartridge, I am no rush to sell this and have not tried to inflate the price just started the listing at the sum I paid, I am open to sensible offers, I have had to describe this as used but factory refurbished is a more accurate description.
