As you can see from the pictures it is in excellent condition for its age. There are some very faint usage marks on the chassis, and we have tried to make these clear in the pictures, but please ask if you would like some more snaps. It has also benefited from a service.Work undertaken includes a new drive belt fitted, the volume potentiometer and switches de-oxidized, the tape-head demagnetized, the tape-head, and the pinch rollers and capstans cleaned. The head is in excellent condition and shows no sign of wear and the tape path is sparkly clean. The unit operates from a Gumstick battery, or a single AA battery, and the battery compartment of the included AA battery Adapter is clean.This sale includes the original box, the Gumstick battery holder and even the lapel clip from the earbuds, which is incredibly rare. This really is a complete set. This unit is form my personal collection, and is not getting used, so I am selling it on to someone who will appreciate it. For future reference, these units benefit from a well recorded Chrome position tape, and premium quality headphones. It sounds superb, and is one of the best sounding units in my collection. This is a lovely example of an EX612 with original phones , battery pack and remote. Fully functional but will require a belt for total fluidity. I will send to other countries with an enquiry, thanks.
