And thanks to analog-to-HDMI conversion, you can send all video sources to your television via a single HDMI cable — youll never have to switch inputs on your TV again. To make the most of your older analog video sources, the 1700 converts them to 480p progressive scan. Just add an optional XM Mini-Tuner package and an XM subscription to enjoy instant access to more than 170 digital channels of music, news, talk, and sports. Its even compatible with XMs new HD Surround channels, which deliver music in multichannel sound. iPod integration Pick up the optional YDS-10 control dock to integrate your iPod into your home theater system.
