The best they can do is to sent your amp for repairs to Japan at the cost of about £400 return postage + an actual cost of repairs and possibility of paying £304 UK importation tax for the second time. Im not going to elaborate how I got a new panel in the end - but it took more than a year to arrange and the cost of obtaining it was around £450.
