This is a very high quality preamplifier that features a PHONO input stage with selectable cartridge type (moving magnet or moving coil) and selectable capacitance. Cosmetically this unit is in very good condition. It shows only very minor signs of wear. There are not major marks or dings on the unit. The front and back of the unit are in excellent condition. The top shows some rough areas that appear to be due to cleaning. Please look carefully at all of the pictures to judge the condition for yourself. The unit has been cleaned and tested. GFA-5802 AMPLIFIER: The Adcom GFA-5802 is a High Current MOSFET amplifier designed by the legendary Nelson Pass. It is the best example of the companys effort in stereo amplifiers. It has balanced and single-ended inputs, with two pairs of sturdy gold binding posts per channel (for bi-wiring, if desired). 300Watts per channel into 8 ohms, 450 Watts into 4 ohms. This amp can handle any speaker. Bass control is superb and the overall sound is detailed and transparent. GFP-750 PRE-AMP: Also designed by Nelson Pass, also utilizing MOSFET architecture.
