ADS L1290 Audiophile Tower Speakers - Beautiful Cabinet Restoration w/new bases. These were meticioulsy restored recently and the end result is absolutely stunning! All drivers are original and in perfect condition. Woofer surrounds are good. New gasket cork added to low end drivers. New bases were fabricated from baltic birch replacing the old original damaged particle board bases. Original owners manual is included. Grills were repainted with factory original color black satin paint. All grill pegs are intact. They are currently in a working system and sound so good. Pick up is preferred but will ship if necessary. Can be biamplified if preferred. Tweeter has 1.5 db cut switch. Tweeter and midrange drivers are fuse protected. 15 watts minimum, 300 watts maximum. Acoustic suspension design. Crossover frequencies: 500Hz and 5000 Hz. Efficiency: 90db SPL from 2.83 VRMS (1 watt) pink noise input at 1 meter in a typical listening room. 8 ohms, nominal. 2 each 8.3 woofers, one 2.0 soft dome midrange, 0.75 soft dome tweeter.SHIPPING NOTE: speakers will be packaged SECURELY and separately and shipping cost is per speaker.
