Aiwa AD-L300 Dolby Cassette Deck Aiwa, right?Well turns out Aiwa built many topquality decks in the 70s-80s.Not many know this.Some of their decks are in demand. THIS one is from the mid-late 70s.Just after Metal tape came out.This is a beautiful deck in excellent condition.Very clean and nicely featured.The feature that I love is the music scan.You can advance a tape to any song,skipping the ones in between.It has front panel fine bias control.And a full 3-way tape selector.So while it will play & record those FeCr tapes, it can play, but not recordmetal tapes. This is a pretty rare deck to findin this super clean condition andhad seen very little use.The head is in great condtion.I offer a 1 year free-labor warranty.Original box included. Service:Naturally, all the belts were replaced.The transport needs some cleaning outof gummed up old grease.The take up idler got my special treatment.All in all, this deck has very low hours.The tape path was cleaned and de-magd.Head alignment checked.Some minor electronic alignments wereneeded to bring this back to spec.Speed set. WFF tested = very low.Massive flywheel; strong motor. Cosmetics:Exceptionally clean.On the very edge on the left sidea couple of dings you cant realy seeat all. All the plastic glass looksgreat.
