AIWA Cassette Walkman RS260 cassette player vintage JAPAN Operation confirmed It has play, stop, fast forward, rewind, volume, tape select, AM.FM radio function, and super bass switch, all working fine.Since the internal rubber belt was slightly deteriorated, it is a compatible product, but it has been replaced with a new one and is operating normally. There was no phenomenon of sound fluctuation and it was in the normal range.?I wiped off the head and capstan of the metal part with alcohol after polishing with a compound. The pinch roller did the work of wiping it with water and removing the dirt. ?I polished the contacts of the battery box with a contact restorer.?Please prepare two AA batteries and headphones or earphones.?A DC3V power supply can be used. I actually used several cassette tapes of jazz and classical music and listened to them with my headphones. Overall, I think the basic performance of AIWA players is high. Unlike the appearance of plastic, this product gave me a pleasant sound that could clearly hear high to low notes. If you apply SUPER BASS, the bass will be even more numb. Aiwa products of quality that is by no means inferior to Sony and Panasonic. Recommended. ? I dont think it will be a problem for use, As you can see in the last photo, the holding part of the lid of the battery box is damaged.
