8 Spur Tonbandgerät eight track AKAI CR-81D,für die Verwendung von sog. 8-Spur Cassetten (catridges) wie sie vor allem in den USA verwendet wurden.Das Gerät stammt aus einer Haushaltsauflösung, genaues Alter unbekannt, vermutlich 70ér Jahre.Wie auf dem Foto ersichtlich besitzt das Gerät einen US-Stecker für 110Volt, ein Adapter ist nicht verfügbar.Das Gerät hat aber eine Umschaltmöglichkeit für 110V/220V und 50Hz/60Hz und kann somit am normalen Stromnetz betrieben werden.Da mir wiegesagt der Adapter fehlt, ist mir eine Funktionsprüfung nicht möglich! Zudem besitze ich auch keine passende Cassetten.Ich verkaufe das Teil somit als defekt, nicht funktionsbereit bzw. für Bastler zum wieder herrichten! Akai CR-81D 8 Track Player - Priced Fairly Relative To The Below Used - Working as the per the demo video, but in need of a service - Plays through and all the buttons function as they should, programme selector etc - The only niggle is when you turn the unit on theres a wooshing sound heard through the speakers which lasts for around 3ish seconds and then disappears ?! Cosmetically the unit has some light marks to the metal black lid and what looks like some black paint down both front wooden edges and also down the edge, presumably done by the original owner to make the make the top flow down the side but to be honest the paint job is not the best! The 4 rubber/plastic feet are also missing I have also included a birds eye view photo of the internals which seem to show (face value only) electrical components in good order (capacitors). This machine plays back via an amplifier and on my system sounds good, although there is slight ghosting from other tracks. Im not sure if the head needs re-aligning or my test tape (not included) is worn and stretched. I cannot test the phones socket on the front or the recording mode as I do not have the necessary equipment.Please see the video as regards the program selections and VU meters.The clip was made using my mobile so therefore the sound reproduction is not the true quality by any means. It measures approximately 34½cm x 13½cm x 17cm.
