USED AKG P7E cartridge with USED (somewhat) worn X7E stylus: Long ago the stylus in my tone arm was damaged which caused the highs to become distorted overnight. I found I could buy an entire new cartridge and stylus for just 30% more than the stylus would cost alone. So I did that and just switched the bad stylus from my tone arm cartridge into the new cartridge and stored them away. Then I put the new stylus from the new cartridge into this old cartridge (WHAT IS BEING SOLD HERE) still fastened to my tone arm (saving the hassle of unscrewing/disconnecting and then reassembling the tone arm/cartridge again) Then some period of time passed with excellent performance of my turntable - but eventually the stylus became worn and I could hear some distortion. So I removed this cartridge/stylus and stored it away when I bought a new turntable. Now many years later Im selling both cartridges and styli. The other cartridge (which is new but has a damaged stylus) is also being put up for sale today in a separate eBay listing. I have no way of testing it - sold all my vinyl and equipment years ago.
