Allison tweeter pulled from Model One, used in models One, Two, Three, Four and possibly others. These are originals from Model Ones. Check to verify you can use in your system. Most of these have pushed in caps, dents, scrapes etc. This tweeter are about as good as you will find. Image is the exact tweeter you will receive. It has been tested working. Allison Acoustics Allison Four Bookshelf Speaker (Single) Woodgrain Cabinet Speaker is in good condition considering it’s age, and sounds great when hooked up to my own receiver and tape deck. All settings governed by the control switch along the back are functional, and allow for you to change the depth and quality of sound being produced by the speaker. On the outside, this speaker appears to be in sound shape, but upon further examination, the woofer on the top face of the cabinet appears to have been partially blown. I determined this by tapping lightly with my finger around the circular cone, and heard one particular point where the pitch sounded off. My guess is that there is a damaged coil underneath the paper, but I am not a professional with speakers whatsoever. Regardless though, I am unable to hear any distortion in sound quality when listening to music through it. Aside from the issues with the woofer mentioned on top, there is a small point of damage seen along one of the metal grates on the side of speaker. One of the mesh covers appears to have a tear in the metal in the shape of an L, that blends in very seamlessly when the grate is attached to the cabinet. The tweeters underneath both grates appear to be in excellent condition as well. Other than what has been detailed thus far, the speaker is in great shape cosmetically, with only a few scratches focused sporadically around the top and bottom face of the wood cabinetry.
