PHILIPS CD104 lettore CD vintage anno 1984,ricercatissimo dagli audiofili sparsi in tutto il mondograzie alla sua straordinaria musicalità e naturalezza timbricaed alla robustezza della sua costruzione (lo chassis dellapparecchioè realizzato in pesante pressofusione di lega metallica, ossia die cast,che conferisce al lettore il ragguardevole peso di ben 7 kili !). Vi viene qui proposto un magnifico esemplare completamente REVISIONATO,TESTATO e quindi PERFETTAMENTE FUNZIONANTE, con il display in ordine (tutti i segmenti funzionano regolarmente), in grado di leggere siaovviamente i CD originali che quelli masterizzati (legge senza problemi anche i mieiCD masterizzati a partire dal lontano 1997, di varie marche e con diverse superfici riflettenticaratterizzate da differenti colorazioni, ad esempio blu, verdi, celestini, oro, argento, ecc.). Merito della ormai mitica ottica laser Philips CDM1 realizzata completamente in lega di alluminio, un vero capolavoro assoluto di tecnologia, il meglio che sia mai stato prodotto in tema dimeccaniche laser tanto da essere adottata anche su lettori CD di alto lignaggio (e di costoelevato) come Marantz, Mc Intosh, Audio Research, Revox, Mission, Meridian, solo per citarne alcuni... Merito inoltre dei due fantastici convertitori D/A multibit (dei veri multibit !) TDA1540 capaci di restituire una timbrica calda e molto naturale. La configurazione oversampling 4x è stata lasciata immutata per garantire lorginalitàdellapparecchio. Sarà poi lacquirente a decidere, se lo vorrà, se modificare il lettoreconfigurandolo in modalità NOS (No OverSampling) mediante unintervento tuttosommato relativamente semplice per chi dovesse avere una buona pratica incampo elettronico e di cui sono reperibili ampie informazioni e documentazioni inrete. A detta di tanti, la disabilitazione delloversampling potrerebbe ad un ulterioremiglioramento della già elevata qualità timbrica di questo strepitoso lettore.
