For sale a lovely pair of KEF Concertos 3 way speakers. Three-way floor speaker system, using the famous T27 tweeters and KEF B110 mid & B139 bass drive units. They are in good condition, but there is mark on top of one, a scratch down one side, a small chip and some other age related marks but overwise gorgeous looking speakers. Full working order and sound great. They come with KEF original packing boxes. KEF KIT CONCERTO LOUD SPEAKERSVINTAGE APPROX 1974 These kits were sold by Kef for home construction of the cabinet whilst using Kefs drivers The cabinets are pretty ugly and faced with cork - front panel cloth is damaged All drivers in excellent working order - this would make an ideal project for refurbishment or the drivers are well thought of & could be used in other designsThere is a volume control on the back which appears effect the top end unfortunately these days my hearing is not good enough to pick out the differences. In summary either a great resto project to get a very pleasant sounding pair of loud speakers at a reasonable price alternatively scrap the cabinets & use drivers in other projects. A quick look online shows these drivers being used in a number of other speaker types. there are loads of reviews/comments about these speakers & drivers on the internet if you should choose to read them COLLECTION FOR ST4 6HA
