Great sounding switchable MM & MC valve phono stage. Croft amps always sounds very natural and smooth, maybe because of their percieved simplicity. A few minor marks to the paint finish, but still a lovely example of this classic pre. Please inspect the pictures (please also use the zoom function on the photos) and be sure of what you are buying, please don’t buy this if you are at all unsure, I will answer any questions you have, just email BEFORE PURCHASING. (Passende Endstufe Series 7 R da!)---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Unsere Historie mit Croft währt schon lange...: Vor ca. 30 Jahren kaufte ich 2x Leak Stereo 20 als Monoblöcke modifiziert von Hr. Croft direkt von ihm...und dazu die unglaublich günstige Croft Super Micro Vorstufe m. Röhrenphono. Diese schlug im damaligem Laden Musik im Raum/Wiesbaden - wo ich als Verkäufer arbeitete - alle vorhandenen Vorstufen bis hinauf zu Beard P 505 MKII und besser als Audio Research SP-9 über den Phono Eingang. Sensationell zu damals DM 645,--....kein Wunder, daß kein Händler die Dinger im Laden haben wollte... ;-) Später führten wir in unserem Studio ClassA Hifi Studio die gesamte Palette incl. der etwas zickigen OTL 25 Endstufe...auch danach bei ON/OFF Hifi und in der Phonobar natürlich.... :-)
