A late Friend of mine bought this Dynavector XX2 mk2 cartridge soon before he had a fall that broke an ankle, and, then he stopped using his turntable. I’d be surprised if there is more than 100 hours on this cartridge. He left it to me, and as much as I’d like to use it, I need to pay bills. It will come with the paper work, and screw’s, stylus brush and the shabby box I used tape on to keep it closed. It will be packed with care and here’s an opportunity to get a great cartridge that sells for 2150.00 for much less. Item has a few very minor scratches which can be seen in the many photos supplied. I had a tough time trying to get a good shot of the stylus tip, so there are many attempts at that here. The cantilever is straight, and, the tip is intact as it should be. So this XX2 Mk2 has about 50 hours careful use, practically new. Selling at 35% below purchase price, there's no better deal for this extraordinary cartridge that is one of the best MC up to £2000. Dynavector XX-2 MK.II Phono Cartridge in Box - Excellent Condition Selling my Dynavector XX-2 MK II cartridge in original box and packaging. It has been retipped by VAS and only has ~38 hours of use according to my stylus timer. The only reason I am selling is because I moved up to the Te Kaitora and I have a collection of carts that I need to slim down. I ran this cartridge on my Linn LP12 turntable into a Dynavector P75 phono preamp (100 Ohms fixed loading, or Dr T mode, both sound great). AMAZING sound with a mix of top and bottom end control, big musical energy/PRaT, and remarkable ability to minimize surface noises. All in all, a really wonderful cart. Includes all the documentation as well as head shell screws and stylus cover. As you can see from the pics, serial number on the box matches the serial number on the graph which matches the serial number on the cart itself. Only used for critical listening on a very select range of records. Max 100 hours use. It comes complete with all original packaging, fixing bolts, cleaning brush and paperwork.
