The peak plate-Voltage is 7,0 Kilovolts. The EL504 was particularly designed as line output tube in TV sets, but can be used as audio power output tube in single-ended and push-pull output stages as well (see - for example - the blogspot at **). Disregarding the higher max. plate dissipation of 16 Watts compared to 12 Watts, the EL504 obviously is essentially equal to the EL500 = 6GB5. Disregarding the different heater data (6,3 V / 1,35 A compared to 27 Volt / 0,3 A) the EL504 is equal to the PL504. This is indicated by the symbol ? , a special character within in the six-figure factory code that is imprinted in very small, grey letters on the outer side of the glass bulbs of both tubes. Condition: The tubes are boxed in original Siemens boxes. The boxes havent been sealed by factory. Thats why I could take off the tubes from the boxes and make photos and short function tests and emission measurements according to the test parameters on testcard #1216 for EL504 of the FUNKE-W19 tubetester: Both tubes are in very good condition with very good emission values, see below. Measurements: All measurements have been performed after a burn-in for 10 minutes and a very short, final measurement run with the chosen test parameters below, while overloading the tubes momentarily. Emission measurement in zero bias mode (U_g1=0 Volts) as follows: - U_plate = 200 Volts, Ug_2= 60 Volts, Ug1 = 0 Volts - The 100%-value of I_plate is 113 mA (emission = very good).
