The VIII is in good fully working condition with just a few age related marks – please see photographs – but nothing to affect the operation and sound quality available. It will come professionally packaged with our standard three month warranty. Exposure Said…. Exposure believes that a power amplifier in only as good as its power supply. To this end, we have produced a series of very high quality mains transformers, rectifiers and power supply capacitors to meet the needs of the most demanding hi-fi systems (and, more importantly, to deliver a truthful rendition of the information presented to the amplifier).Exposure amplifiers are fully complementary “Class A/B” designs – in our opinion superior to “quasi-complementary” or so called “Class A” designs – they offer excellent low frequency distortion characteristics with a good damping and excellent reliability. Bandwidth filters are used to remove unwanted signals, while circuit layout minimises the length of the signal path (maximising efficiency). Special solder is used on the boards, and all boards are cleaned of flux to ensure long-term reliability. Excellent cosmetic and operational condition. The only imperfection I can see is a tiny nick on the right side of chassis at the bottom edge towards the rear of the unit (see last photo). Note that by design this amp and many other Exposure amps make a small pop/thump sound through the speakers during turn on/off which is normal. Voltage is 110 for use in US/Canada. Comes with power cord and original factory packaging. Signature may be required at delivery.
