If not happy to pay the asking price? offers will be deliberated. Goldring G88 Idler Drive Transcription Turntable Without TonearmThe Holy Grail of Goldring Lenco enthusiasts. Sold as photographed. A reluctant sale of one of my collectable turntables due to move abroad. This is in far better condition than many Ive seen sold on Ebay and they are becoming rarer by the day as many enthusiasts know that this was a direct competitor to the Garrard 301 - 401 and Thorens TD124. The thinking mans vintage idler drive for those not prepared to spend ridiculous amounts of money on a 301. As a member of LencoHeaven forums and someone who has modded, built and replinthed many tts, this would be an ideal project for anyone with the know how. This is in particularly good shape and will not require a strip and repaint, even better is that the platter paint is good with very few marks, although there are a few hear and there as this is near 60 years old. It will be packed very well. If you require a second platter for double plattering, please let me know as I have three unpainted GL75 platters stashed away. Plinth schematics are available on the LencoHeaven website where you will find all the knowledge and support required to make a very high end turntable at a fraction of the cost of many other over inflated models.
