DO NOT buy vintage audio receivers that have 40-50 year old Electrolytic capacitors that have not been replaced! Or unless, you plan on replacing the old capacitors yourself. These old classic receivers do sound great, when in correct working order. Without repairs made do to attrition of the parts inside, these units are ticking time bombs! Harmon Kardon 230A - New critical Capacitors replaced! All power supply Capacitors replaced. The Original 2200uf can seen in the photos, has been modified. It may look original but it is not! The can now holds within a new 63 volt 2200uf capacitor by passed with a .1uf film and foil Audio grade capacitor. The unit plays and sounds excellent. Over all the unit presents nicely, and all other internal components have tested well. The FM side of the Tuner face scale has a bulb out to the far right of the scale. I will leave this issue to be solved with the new owner, should it even be an issue at all. If I were to repair the lamp, it would increase the cost of the unit. Unlike non serviced or partial serviced units being offered for sale. This unit is guaranteed to play for years to come. HARMAN KARDON 330A - New Capacitors! This unit has been rebuilt with new electrolytic (Quality) capacitors. The unit plays and sounds excellent. The cover has been re-covered in a Faux Leather material. The cover itself appears to have been restored at some point. The cover vent holes have been repainted. You will also notice in the photos there are round impression made in the faux leather case cover. These were made from being in storage with other 330 models that were stacked on top of the unit, not really noticible! The power button has been replaced with a custom replacement. Solid Brass cover mounting screws have also been added, instead of the original rust magnet mounting screws. The AM Tuner antenna screw is missing (but who listens to AM). I will let you get a replacement screw that way it keeps the price down.
