This Kenwood power supply is in pretty good cosmetic condition with the only eye-sores being some tweaked sheet metal on the back of the cabinet. The front panel looks great. The supply was used to test a TS-511S transceiver and worked well under load. I havent taken it out of the cabinet, but its probably safe to assume that the capacitors are original. Id strongly suggest you replace those sooner than later, else youve got a ticking time bomb on your hands. The sale does include the cable that connects the supply and transceiver. The transceiver was tested using a PS-511S supply (available for sale in another listing). Its putting out 90 watts on 15, 100 watts on 20, 70 watts on 40, 50 watts on 80, and absolutely nothing on 10. RX is weak across all bands. Also, the volume control is extremely dirty and the slightest touch makes some serious static. All components (capacitors, resistors, etc) appear to be original.
