There is corrosion and minor rusting throughout the metal parts, and the entire dust cover has use scuffs, minor scratches, and discoloration that appears to be sunburn. Table surface is relatively clean and well used considering its age. The arms are scuffed. Operation is good, with no uneven rotation, and the quartz lock works properly. Arm operation is also fine, and there are no problems with the full-auto mechanism or repeat function. The lift-off position is slightly toward the inner circumference. Sound output was fine, but the frequency of needle use is unknown. Attached are a mat, main weight, genuine cartridge [5MC], and straight arm. Pioneer PL-505 Full-Automatic Direct Drive Turntable Record Player cover crackDescription?Usage: Used and has scratches, dirt, rust, and signs of use. ?Operating status Operation is normal for both 33 and 45 rpm. This is a full-auto record player that operates automatically, including auto start, auto stop, auto return and auto repeat. When the record is finished, the arm automatically returns and rotation stops. ?The auto function is good now. ?Turntable body The turntable has some rust. The body is generally good, but there was some chipping in the lower right front, so it has been repaired. ?Shell & Cartridge The shell is a genuine Pioneer shell with a new and used needle attached to a Trio V -39 MKII cartridge. Available in MM cartridge with 5 mV output and 1.5 g to 2.0 g needle pressure. Originally, this is a specification of Pioneers high-power MC cartridge, but because of broken needles, it has been replaced. 5MC Cartridge compatriots. ?Dust cover The dust cover was broken in the lower left front when I got it, so I fixed it with glue, but it didnt work and it got quite dirty.
