This is the one I was going to keep....the one tucked away, but Im afraid its got to go! This is one of the last 2 Leak deltas I have for sale. Ive had 7 Leak Deltas this year of which Ive sold 5 which is a record!Buy now as Xmas is close, and all my decks tend to sell by then. Leak Delta AKA Goldring Lenco GL75 Here we have another Leak Delta Lenco for sale: Serviced to the hilt! The Leak Delta , another favourite of mine, part of the Lenco L75 family, based on the Goldring GL75...Why, because they are indentical underneath...except for the way the wooden plinth is suspended. The Leak Delta, along with the Goodmans Lenco were top end of the range in their day. This particular model is an early Swiss made version rather than the Italian made ones..., with a wooden sided perspex lid, in very good condition.There are a few nicks here and there, although the faceplate is pretty immaculate. The serial number is quite low, so Id put this one at 1971 (Rank purchased HJ Leak in 1969). There is very little signs of wear and tear, and certainly plays like new. Everything about it is clean, switches and lever actions are tight and its a credit to the engineers at Lenco. Its playing Scritti Politti Songs to Remember LP as I type! Classic sound! Reduced price to allow for fascia nicks, otherwise it is an amazing deck New V-blocks New power cable - earthed + new plug. New phono cables Polished perspex lid A1 condition headshell 5 hole Idler serviced. New SINi bearing and pom base plate New oil well cap sealed with tieback All surface areas polished with hi grade finishing product. Original Stylus on a Shure M75 ED cartridge Full complement of weights, inc. bias weight. Tonearm rear tail straightened I must also add you cannot hear this motor turn! It is soooo quiet! The above list of works carried out cover most of the refurbishments Ive made to this deck The are other discrete mods I perform on these decks, but they are for me to know and you to hear! This Leak Delta Lenco comes with an original Lenco strobe disk and GL75 manual. VTA adjusted, tracking weight set to Cartridge type and Lenco protractor used for the perfect pivot to spindle distance! Speed adjusted and tested. I run my motors for days, checking whether they overheat or keep their speed....because people come from all over the UK, got to make sure my decks are thoroughly tested for peace of mind. Every corner sparkles; the Leak Delta is a lovely deck worthy of any front room or ears! A delight to listen to. I only select the best to refurb; low use, low hours = many more years of use.
