This would have come with a center speaker and satellite speakers to be used with a surround receiver. Some receivers had left and right sub line level outputs and others a single sub line out, Im sure there were others that had amplified sub outputs for direct connection to a subwoofer. No you cant connect an amplified speaker level out to this sub. It has its own 100 watt amp buildt in. Theres plenty of info on line about this type of product.
