Seial no. 157... making it year 1999 and serviced by Witch Hat Audio in 2014. Sounds sublime. Just one step down from the legendary Nap 250. Unfortunately no box and a mistrust of the postal service therefore collection only although I am willing to travel 20 miles or so from Cambridge to assist in the collection.Alternatively the amp can be demonstrated if required on collection. This item has been tested and is in complete operational condition. The 180 is a derivative of the 140 with a more robust power supply and larger 500 VA transformer in the full size case. I have been listening to this with Linn LP12/Valhalla/Ortofon TA-110/VAS rebuilt Karma and in my video system with exceptional results. IMO more life to the music with greater spatial information present than both the 250 amps I have here. I used with and without HiCap, preamps 112, 72, 32.5, 62, and Bryston B60 preamp section. Speakers B&W 803D, JBL L100, ADS L1230. Cosmetic condition is very good with minimal signs of wear. This is physically clean inside and out no dirt or nicotine contamination. Naim Hi-Line 5pin DIN to 5pin DIN (180) interconnect | current model RRP £899 Recently traded-in with us against Chord Company interconnects, this cable is designed by Naim as an upgrade for source components. Offered with its original metal case & sleeve along with its user manual. Described by Naim as: The Hi-Line Air-PLUG (patented) is designed as a decoupling device to minimise microphonic interference and preserve the integrity of the audio signal. The many different rear sections of the Air-PLUG are clipped together to form a lossy flexible section. The cable is clamped compliantly to the end of this flexible section. The cable itself was also carefully designed to preserve audio signal integrity so improving sound quality. It is manufactured from twisted pairs of 80 Litz conductors surrounded by PTFE, Kapton and PTFE tape all then enclosed within a semi conductive shield to reduce static charges. This is then wrapped by two spiral wound copper shields and lapped PTFE tape. Two of these assemblies side by side are then wrapped in layers of PTFE tape and finally a rubber outer covering.
