The covers to these 535Ds are often scratched and we noticed a variety of marks on the top cover of this receiver which is actually typical for the 535D. The scratches did not remove paint and appear much like someone taking a fingernail to the flat surface leaving it with traces, but not missing paint. -Description-The reception is good in all modes from LF to 33MHz.There are no problems with any of the control buttons, and the VR has no galling.It is equipped with CHE-85 (V/UHF CONV) and GCA-118 (V/UHF LOCAL) and RS232C unit (CMH-532) as options.One drawback is that the V/U unit does not operate properly.It seems to display frequencies from 50 to 450 MHz without unlocking, but reception is not possible.It seems to work with some adjustments, but I dont have the data at hand and cant get at it.Please try to maintain this unit as it rarely comes up.HF reception is very good with little floor noise.
