It’s not the original ac adapter but is same power output as the original (volts and amps). I’ve got two but only need one. It’s excellent for listening to headphones, especially those that require a little extra power to shine. Non-Apple smart phones, look elsewhere. It was designed for all iPhones. I have an iPhone 13 and it still works great. From an Absolute Sound review: In simple terms, the iDo is an Apple-compatible, 24-bit, USB Host Mode DAC (maximum resolution, 48kHz/24-bit), coupled with a simple but very high-quality desktop headphone amplifier.
