As you can see, the arm is visually in very good to excellent condition, although the base has some blemishes (see photos 8 and 9). The end cap at the rear is a high quality replacement as the original cap broke, as is often the case with these caps. The armrest, which comes from a B&O turntable, fits perfectly and it is incidentally, also Danish-made. :-)) The internal wiring of the tonearm is 100% original and has NOT been rewired. In my opinion, the original internal tonearm wires are most critical to delivering the classic, full-bodied sound of vintage Ortofon tonearms. Rewired Ortofon tonearms, to say the least, have a different sound. Functionally, this arm is in perfect working condition. It has been fully tested and everything works as it should.
