The DesignThe Panasonic Compact Micro Hi-Fi System SC-RS52EB boasts a sleek and clean design that would fit nicely into place in any office, living room, bedroom or kitchen. On top of the sound system you will find 10 well labelled buttons; Power, Bluetooth Pairing & Mode Selector, 5 Favourites (to which you can have pre-set to your favourite radio stations or CD albums), Rec (to record your CD’s onto the 4GB of internal storage), Mixplay (to shuffle-play your recorded music) and an Eject button for your CDs. The stainless mesh finish on the front of the Hi Fi system is of a high quality. In the centre you will find the display that shows you which mode you have selected as well as the time and play volume. Underneath that are located a headphone jack, media and volume controls as well as an USB port. PerformanceThe Panasonic SC-RS52’s 40W power output combines with a 3rd generation Lincs D-Amp for very low levels of distortion, even when listening on full volume. The two 6.5cm full-range Nano Bamboo speakers and Twisted Acoustic ports supply the SC-RS52 Hi Fi system with sufficient bass delivery.Up to four Bluetooth devices can be connected to the system at any one time, so if you’ve got a family of five whom all use the speaker; one pre-saved device will have to be deleted in order to make room for the fifth device. The 4GB of internal memory means that you can upload approximately 1000 songs from your CD collection and turn the SC-RS52 into a jukebox of your favourite albums. The FM radio and DAB are easily pre-set onto one of the five available “favourite” buttons.There is no AUX port, there is an USB port that can be used to connect a memory stick containing MP3s and it can be used to charge your phone, but not play music from it.
