Lets start with the defect , this is a battery operated record player , and when I put the batteries in the record player , it started to move , you had to give it a little bit of nudge, but it did move and it did make sound , and the record did play , but it played on a different sound , a slower sound not the normal sound . I dont know if that can be fixed , but the batteries when I put them in, they would not stay in tightly . I guess because the item is so old , that the box that holds the batteries maybe loose , but its still plays , but I cant guarantee that this record will play perfectly , it definitely works and it turns on. there is a needle which is fantastic and it does play , but again it does not play the correct sound it plays a slower sound . But either way what a fantastic item this is , this collectors item comes with everything pictured, the record player, the Box, Five small little black records with its case , and some instructions , which is super cool. Now the Box itself is in rough shape but it is there , there is stains, dirt, dust, rips, tears, and cracks in the box , but it is there. the five records are as follows, the doors, Neil Diamond, the Fallen Angels, Van Morrison, and Tommy James and the Shondells , now these records are plastic and they do have scratches . this is a fantastic collectors item, and would be a fantastic gift for any collector , or any collection . Please note this is a used item, and could be missing parts also, it is definitely missing the plastic insert piece that goes into the center of the record , not a big deal , just thought you should know, but everything pictured is what is going to be listed , and sold. Please also note the philco record player case itself the Gray box , does have a crack in it , you can see it in some of the pictures . But I believe this is all to be expected for as old as this item is, gives it great character and shows how authentic this beautiful item is. I believe this is from the 1960s -1970s could be earlier, could be later, but I cant be for sure theres no date on here.. I found this item on the east coast of the United states, and I did NOT clean it up at all , this is exactly the way I found it, you can clean this item up, or just leave it alone and add it to a really cool collection . Please make sure and take a look at all the pictures this is a used item .. This item is so cool that it has philco phonograph model number S-1369 , and says on the front , it has Ford the motor company right on the front , which I think is super cool . when I opened it up the mechanisms inside says its from Japan . this is a super cool find . This vintage Philco Ford record player is a portable unit that still works , despite some wear and tear. It features a sleek design and is accompanied by a few accessories as seen in the pictures. Made in Japan, this unit is an excellent addition for collectors of vintage electronics and audio equipment. The item is being sold as-is without any guarantees or warranties. PHILCO FORD VARIABLE AC - DC POWER SUPPLY - BIAS AND FILAMENT SUPPLY The power supply partially works. The 0-300 V DC and 0-15 V DC dont work. The capacitor needs to be replaced; could also use a little repainting. This is not a museum piece but it still works good for bringing up tube-type radios.SELLING AS IT

Up for auction is a Vintage Philco Ford Solid State Radio. The color is ivory. It is in used condition with scratches and nicks and is a little dirty. The radio has general wear from use. There are a couple of gashes on the top. The cord is in good shape with no cuts.  The board on the back looks like it was popped out at one point. The sticker on the back is peeling. The feet are not cracked and the radio sits nice and flat with no wobble. We plugged it in and turned it on but no sound comes out. The clock runs but I don’t know how it keeps time. .  SELLING AS IS FOR PARTS OR REPAIR. We are a smoke free pet free clean home. The shipping is calculated to your location plus $2 shipping and handling. If eBay shows high shipping and it comes in lower I will refund the difference. Everything I sell is used with issues and not perfect. I do my best to describe every item however, I undoubtedly miss some flaw on each item.
