Die Tonabnehmer Pins sind aber von Cardas.Einschränkend: Das Antiskating Gewicht ist vom Audio Origami PU7, der Tonarm Fingerhebel fehlt, die Schraube zur Feinjustage des Tonarmlifts ist nicht original sowie der Auflagebügel des Tonarmlifters ist nicht sehr stabil befestigt. Neben diesen altersbedingten Einschränkungen ist dies wirklich eine sehr gute Gelegenheit einen Weltklassetonarm zu einem extrem günstigen Preis zu erwerben.Viel Hörspass !!

The plinth was heavily worn - as early black plinths tend to be - so this has been sympathetically refinished the plinth to remove the worst of the wear and tear. Nevertheless, it does show some minor signs of ageing and use.Originally fitted with a failed Valhalla, this has now been exchanged for a very nice Linn Lingo 1 power supply which is in excellent condition. This, along with the pre-Cirkus bearing provides a very musical partnership so we’ve elected to use a rarely found (particularly in this condition) Syrinx PU-2 tonearm. Claimed by many to be the better of the Linn Ittok, this cleverly engineered design allows for greater control of cartridge alignment and balance and provides a performance more akin to uni-pivot designs rather than conventional bearing tonearms.This is now set up beautifully and performs at a level that greatly belies its price point. OverviewPoints of note (pictured)There are some light signs of use on the top of the plinth.There is a crack in the lid at the rear right hinge but it still operates perfectly. There are some light surface scratches to the lid but it is presentable. Given the size of this tonearm, the lid does lightly foul in the fully down position so we would recommend using spacers in the long-term.This deck is hugely capable and is perfect for someone who really appreciates how musical - and esoteric - the LP12 platform can be.

Linn Sondek LP12 Turntable with Syrinx PU2 tonearm and AT110 Cartridge (with AT115 stylus) in fluted plinth. Nice condition LP12 with Valhalla Power supply which has had capacitors replaced around a year ago. The Stainless steel top plate is 2mm thick (standard thickness is 1.5mm) and also has provision for an Origin Live motor to be mounted in the 8 oclock position, this is blanked off at present. The sub chassis I had manufactured, and features aluminium plates top and bottom riveted and bonded to an acrylic inner layer, the original sub chassis is included with the sale, but the fitted chassis is a great improvement. The Syrinx PU2 tonearm at the time of release when reviewed was said to have had similar performance to the Ittok, this model has the optional mass ring fitted to it, which does cause the dustcover to clash with it when down, so the rear hinges have been raised slightly to prevent this, they can be dropped back down if youd prefer to remove the mass ring. The top of the platter and inner platter isnt pristine, but is not visible when the mat is fitted, the visible part of the platter on the circumference face is in nice condition. The bearing and motor runs quietly and this is a great sounding turntable. Im afraid I dont have a serial number for the LP12.
