A very nice vintage system, all in good working order and great condition. The speakers compliment the Quad system very nicely, these are not to be confused with later Wharfedale products, these are good quality British made speakers in a teak finished cabinet. Custom built Garrard 401 / 301/ SME 3009 Quad display cabinet .This unit has been specifically made for the Garrard 401 which has a suspended sub chassis , It accommodates the SME 3009 .Its possible that a new sub chassis could be replaced to accommodate the Garrard 301 or any other turnable.THE GARRARD 401 IS NOT in the sale . The previous owner has had this unit specially built and I cant stress sufficiently how well made this unit it is. There are no scratches or marks on it at all. The mid section housed the Quad 33 FM3 and 301 and these ARE NOT INCLUDED in the sale . The sale is for the cabinet only Access for mains and interconnect cables are at the back and these are hidden in a recess behind so that no unsightly wires are visible.The lower section is to house LPs .
