I am cleaning out items from my late fathers estate. He had several Technics SL-1200 MK2s and MK5s that have already sold. I think this is an original dust cover that he purchased used as a spare as he loved his Technics turntables. He was a purist and would only buy original items. The material has the look and feel of acrylic and looks original to me, but I didnt inherit his love of turntables so I cannot say for sure. I am hoping the pictures help any potential buyer, who is more knowledgeable than me, make a clear and informed buying decision. The dust cover is clear in color and has moderate scratches on it. There are no chips or cracks. There are no hinges or other identifying markings except for the Technics Quartz logo as shown. Unico difetto: i led del pitch e dei visori 33 e 45 giri non funzionano più da qualche anno ma le funzionalità (cioè appunto il pitch e il cambio di velocità) sono totalmente funzionanti. Il giradischi è stato chiaramente usato, ho ascoltato vinili dal 1992 ad oggi sempre avendone molta cura ma non ho mai avuto problemi. Se abbinato ad un buon amplificatore ha un suono potentissimo sia in cuffia che attraverso le casse. Nessun problema al braccio, il peso è modificabile senza problemi.Abbinate al giradischi due puntine, quella a sinistra è la sua originale, quella a destra acquistata da battaglia anni fa ma perfettamente funzionante (oltre a quella in dotazione già inserita nel braccio, quindi un totale di tre puntine a braccio). Der Plattenspieler ist sehr hochwertig verarbeitet (Metallgehäuse, federgelagerte Plattenteller- und Tonarmeinheit). Der SL-1300 MK2 ist ein Direkttriebler und arbeitet vollautomatisch oder wahlweise auch manuell und besitzt zudem eine zu- bzw. abschaltbare auto return - Funktion. Beide Drehzahlen sind quartzgesteuert und +/- 9,99 % pitchbar und haben einen gleichmäßigen Lauf. Die Plattengrößen sind voreinstellbar. Außerdem hat er mehrere Repeat-Funktionen, mit denen die Platten von 1- bis 6-mal oder unendlich oft wiederholt abgespielt werden können. Montiert ist das originale Technics 205C-II-L Headshell mit einem EPC 205C-II-L MM Tonabnehmer mit einer noch gut aussehenden Nadel mit einem sauberen Klang (Spielzeit ist aber unbekannt). Der Plattenspieler wurde am Tonarmlift durch einen neuen Hebel instandgesetzt (hatte das bei diesen Modellen bekannte Tonarmliftproblem) und wurde dabei gleich mit frischem 500.000er Silikonöl geschmiert. Der Tonarmlift hebt und senkt den Tonarm jetzt wieder ordnungsgemäß, alle Funktionen sind nun wieder gegeben! Die Tonarmlagerung ist in Ordnung, der Tonarm bewegt sich sehr leichtgängig ohne Spiel. Außerdem wurde ein neues Oehlbach NF-1 Cinchkabel mit neuen Dynavox Cinchsteckern montiert. Die Haube befindet sich in einem guten bis sehr guten Zustand. Sie ist schön klar und glänzt, hat keine Risse oder Ausbrüche, lediglich ein paar kleinere Kratzer(chen). Am Gehäuse gibt es auch nur geringe Gebrauchsspuren.
