Vintage Koyo KTR-1770 World Transistor Radio 11 Band Made in Japan. In fairly good condition, but missing battery cover. The aerial tops are not original (but not the internal bases/fittings which are the original ones). There is a bit of damage to the handle - still feels solid, so MAY not be structural... The large tuning knob is not original and is a sympathetic replacement. The squelch appears to have no effect. It is, however, very sensitive on Short Waves - a great performer, which has been overhauled by a highly experienced and specialist radio engineer. All the caps have been replaced on the tuner section, which has benefited from a complete re-build. The amplifier stage remains original and untouched. This is very large and heavy, hence the shipping price. You will receive just the radio, no batteries but can be operated via attached mains lead. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Images form condition description.
