My friend is making his bespoke, custom-built pair of RFC Cheviots available for sale. Reference Fidelity Components are run by Paul Coupe, arguably the leading Tannoy restorer in the U.K. Paul is meticulous in his design and build. Each pair is hand built and they can take up to six months to be completed. Fortunately, RFC are based in very close proximity. The build cost is in excess of 7k for a complete pair of speakers. The design gets the very best performance from the Tannoy drive units. This pair are photographed and discussed on the RFC Facebook page, if you can access it. The speakers consist of hand-crafted bespoke red cherry veneered birch ply cabinets. The drive units are Tannoy HPD 315A 12”, checked by RFC. There are a pair of matching red cherry external crossovers with associated cables. The cabinets sit on bespoke handcrafted feet and they were made two years ago. The grilles have magnet connections and they can be removed in seconds.The dimensions are 109cms x 47cms x 32cms (hwd.) RFC personally delivered the speakers, so there is no packaging. An old-fashioned demonstration and collection from Gloucestershire appears to be most appropriate, but a meet-up could be arranged. Bidding starts at £3750. Any issues on the photos are caused by glare or poor exposure. The Cheviots are in mint condition.

The condition of this amplifier part is as follows: Includes unsoldered leads and some mounting hardware. Tested in service on working amplifier and on Inductance meter and Guaranteed working. Note: The porcelan on one end of this was chipped. The damaged area has been repaired with glue. It is guaranteed good and working.Please see the last photo.
