This is for a Nice vintage ROTEL RA-300 STEREO INTEGRATED AMPLIFIER it powers on but is in part tested condition. Ive hooked it up to a speaker and a record player and I can get sound out of the amplifier on phono however it is not particularly loud and I would say some of the buttons and knobs could do with a clean as they are a bit crackly, especially the monitor button because if this button isnt fully pushed out then I cant get any sound out of the amplifier. I can get sound out of the other two settings but they arent very loud either. The speaker inputs all seem to work but I didnt ground the amplifier so they hummed loudly whilst playing the record, I would recommend grounding the amplifier. I bought it because I love these old Japanese hifi pieces, but I will be back to Uni after summer and very much doubt I will ever get around to using this amplifier. It seems to do everything you would want an amplifier to do like have both phono and tuner capabilities, Ive tried to describe the testing I have done but I would recommend doing a full service in this amp upon purchase . It looks in nice visual order, however there is a relatively deep scratch upon the face of the amp which doesnt both me but should be noted. All the light functions work so thats good as replacing LEDs is always a nuisance. Sold for audio collectors or for someone looking for a nice Japanese amplifier. For overseas buyers I use eBay global shipping services so do not decide the postage prices.
