Playback and recording was tested and item works fine, sound quality is very good from this Sharp model. Included is only the walkman, if you want the empty box too then please send me a message before you buy the item so I will add $10 extra for shipping since it will have to be double boxed and will make a large package compared with shipping the walkman only in a small box. For sale Sony MZ-R700 PC and a Sharp MD-SR505 minidisc players/Recorders both for parts or not working. The Sony actually works it reads and plays discs but has a problem with the headphone socket if you waggle the socket the sound comes on and off,the Sharp just doesn’t read discs at all and displays “ cant read disc” both are in used condition and have scuffs and scratches but the Sony is the better cosmetically.
