Sony Walkman minidisc player/recorder works well but has an issue. The item records ok both from microphone and line in socket but the headphone socket cuts out from time to time and you need to wiggle the cable to get the sound which makes me think it might need resoldering or something like that. Doesn’t come with a power supply but will be supplied with a battery and blank minidisc to get you started. I think the toslink cable is somewhere around and if I find it I’ll send it also. I do have a video of it working which I couldn’t upload but I can forward that to you should this be required. Will be send tracked/insured post.

For sale Sony MZ-R700 PC and a Sharp MD-SR505 minidisc players/Recorders both for parts or not working. The Sony actually works it reads and plays discs but has a problem with the headphone socket if you waggle the socket the sound comes on and off,the Sharp just doesn’t read discs at all and displays “ cant read disc” both are in used condition and have scuffs and scratches but the Sony is the better cosmetically.
