For Sale one vintage (1976-1978?) Sony ST-3950. As usual for Hi-Fi from this era its limited only by the technology of the time. This unit even has a Multipath function that allows the user to detect if signal is being reflected from other buildings. Its all explained in the included manual. While the originals still worked, they were never meant to last that long and I have found this a useful precaution on old equipment. In this case that work also uncovered a small solder splash. Possibly from original manufacture, as the unit functioned fine. However, without it, the unit barely needs an antenna. See the last photo - tuned in to FM stereo! I love the pdea that for forty odd years its just worked, rather than *worked*.
