Pair SPENDOR England LS3/5A 11 ohm BBC MONITORS SPEAKERS consecutive serial #s XLNT! Offered for purchase is this nice pair of genuine made in England Spendor model LS3/5A BBC monitor loudspeakers with black cabinets. I believe these are the 11 ohm versions based on the serial numbers: 010124 and 010125. Dimensions of each are 7-1/2 wide x 6-3/8 deep x 12 tall, and each weighs just over 10 lbs. I have only tested these by listening to them...they sound great and all drivers are working. They do have minor edge and corner wear to the black finish on the wood cabinets. One is missing its front grill badge. The grills are securely attached but some of the velcro strips will have to be stapled back on (see photos.) A nice addition to any sound system or collection... Shipping will be via USPS or Fedex Ground. International buyers are responsible for all customs fees and V.A.T.s. These look excellent, very minor wear. Some dust on the grill. These have been sitting in my closet for the last 7 years. Havent had the will to get rid of them because they sound so good but there is only so long someone can hang on to something they arent using, right? These deserve a better home. Tested the speakers out this morning and they sound as good as ever.

The cabinet is good to fair cosmetic condition.Has some noticeable signs of usage/moving. All drivers and components are original and fully functional.The wall bracket is included.

Single Spendor LS3/5A White Belly 15 Ohm 4 Digit Serial 1024 Tested Working. This is a very rare Spendor LS3/5A. Its the only one of these Ive seen with a 4 digit serial number that doesnt have 0s in front of it. Unfortunately I only have the single speaker and not the pair. The cabinet is pretty rough and could use refinished. The main speaker has some sort of what appears to be an air separation on the cone that comes out from the white belly. If I had to guess Id imagine heat caused the top layer of the cone to life up from the layer beneath it. The speaker sounds great and as far as audio quality it is working as it should. There are some small scratches on the woodwork, I could have touched them up, but prefer to sell them in their present state rather than tarted up.
