Up for sale is a beautiful Strathclyde STD 305M turntable with SME 3009 tonearm and Audio Technica AT-105 MM pick-up, great condition, no major marks or scratches, the plinth is beautiful with surfaces all scratch free. Also lid is scratch free, nice condition, some minor scuffs, but considering age it its great. The turntable comes with factory felt mat, the Audio Technica MM pick-up has a fresh 0 km factory stylus in it. There is a nice record weight/puck as a gift, this improves soundstaging and focus a lot.The player plays great, please check youtube video for details.The arm base is missing 1 screw, this is how I got it many many years ago and it does not affect functionality or sound quality, so I never bothered really.Please note that the Shure MM cartridge is not part of the sales that was on pictures looong ago, since I installed the Audio Technica, a great entry level MM cartridge! This one has the ADC ALT1 tonearm, which is very light weight but accurate. It also comes with a brand new belt, the bearing has been checked and oiled. Ive included a couple of wipes and all the box parts from the new cartridge and stylus. It includes the original Avon AudioMat also which are hard to find. I have bought a brand new Audio Technica cartridge and have paired it to a AT-VMN95ML. It sounds incredible! Im not posting this machine. The Linn Basik Plus Tonearm is great and has a Shure M95ED Cart / Stylus which plays brilliantly Great sounding Turntable! Apologies for the slightly dusty photos! Runs on 33 & 45rpm perfectly. Nice turntable that comes with a unknown arm .It looks like its had a see on it at one time and then the arm was changed .It works fine but I dont know if the arm is setup properly or not so please consider this when bidding .The lid has some marks but overall the turntable is ok
