The main caps ha ejust started to bulge slightly (see pics) but it still has a low nioise floor and sounds beautiful with no evident operaitonal issues. The case and has small nick on the front edge and a little sunfading, but is still a loevy example, the facia is super clean. From a smoke and pet free home. Platine vinyle rétro Sugden CONNOISSEUR BD2/A - vintage. Purchased in the 1970s Switches on ok and turntable spins but is very noisy. 2 speed, 33 & 45 rpm. Shure M75 type 2 cartridge & stylus included (stylus is separate and the protective sponge is disintegrating). SAU 2 pick up arm. Groov-Kleen cleaner. Stylus pressure gadget. The plinth cover is in good condition. Needs a 3 pin plug I would prefer collection from CM11 postcode. Will post but please bear in mind I do not have the transport screws. Vintage A R Sugden Connoisseur turntable on Texan pre amp deck. Untested as I havent got the specific circular mains plug that fits into the back. Vintage Sugden A48 Mk2 Stereo Amplifier. Fully serviced. Stunning example!. Its with heavy heart I finally list my beloved A48. If youre after the true vintage British sound then this is the amplifier for you. 40 Big beefy old fashioned Watts (more like 80) that effortlessly drive any speakers. Rich, articulate, musical, exciting, poise, grip.. All words commonly used.. Ill just say great. Watch Kelvin on his YouTube channel Stereo review X. Hes more than in love with this thing. And yes its the mk2. Personally I prefer it in both sound and looks to the mk1. Its just so of its time. It reminds me of the equipment in science lessons. The knobs and switches would never be on a Japanese thing. Man its cool! Anyway, grab a bargain.
