Vintage Stereo Receiver from 1973 Tandberg TR-200 unit is in working condition, both channels are ok, for visual condition please take a look on the pictures - some scratches on wood especially on corners and unit definitely need good cleaning - item was in environment where someone smoke a lot of cigarettes so aluminum panel is yellowed but it can be easy clean with alcohol.FM tuner take strong signal even without antenna known issues:potentiometers need cleaning they crackle when i adjust vol/bass/treblebuttons sometimes wont stay pressed - i have to press it many times to stay pressed inside probably also dust inside. Good cosmetic condition. No marks or scratches. Images part of the description. Tuner works perfectly fine. Inputs (phono, extra, tape) do not work properly. There is interference between inputs (for example signal from tape deck plugged into tape input can be heard all the time regardless of selected input) and input volume level is lower then build in tuner volume. Tandberg TR 200 Receiver and TEAC A450 Stereo Receiver. TEAC - owned by my father from new. Loading cassettes and playback works although output seems a bit low. Buttons work but recording intermittently and not sure recording is working. Fast forward and rewind working. Tandberg TR200 Stereo Receiver ( working ) READ. Please note this is sold as parts not working as it has issues due to its age. Condition is very good for age with a few marks here and there please see pictures. It works and plays music from both channels on FM in stereo, the only issue it has is with the afc button tends to pull station in to wrong position when in on position, I’m sure it is only a minor adjustment to fix, works fine with afc switched off. It sounds very good for its age, hasn’t been tested on other functions, may have other age related faults, please bear this in mind when bidding. There is no returns on this as this is a piece of vintage electronics and is therefore subject to age related component failure and dry solder joints, having said that I’m sure that with a bit of work it can be easily sorted. Plug will be removed for safe transit but will be included. Selling as slimming down my collection of amps & receivers. UK Bidders only please!!!
