INRAD roofing filter kit for the Omni-VI and Omni-VI Plus transceivers. Significant improvement in overall receiver performance for these classic radios. Comes supplied with an INRAD #765 9 MHz IF 600 Hz bandwidth CW filter installed. This is a low offset filter designed with a center passband frequency of 500 Hz instead of the standard 750 Hz. This filter is for operators who want to listen to CW at a low pitch (approx 400-600 Hz offset) in the passband instead of the higher frequencies at 700-750 Hz. Particularly useful for low band DXing. See installation instructions. All parts on the roofing filter kit packing list on page 4 are also included. The extra #106 INRAD board is a standard plug-in accessory board for Ten-Tec transceivers. If instead of installing this as a roofing filter kit if you wanted to merely use the #765 600 Hz filter as a plug-in accessory receive filter for the NAR or N1, N2 positions in the radio, unsolder the #765 from the roofing filter board and solder onto this board. The board is ready to plug into the accessory filter slots in the transceiver.
