B4 Spindle shaft assembly for Technics-SL-220,230… Turntable

Original genuine OEM Technics dust cover, not a replica. This size dust cover was used on many different models, some with a different badge. Following is a list of the models I know of that use this same size along with the badge type for each one. Dimensions at the opening are approx 16.5 x 12 7/8 x 2 3/4 tall. SL-220, SL-230, SL-231 (BADGE: Frequency Generator Servo)SL-D2, SL-D3, SL-3200, SL-3300 (BADGE: Technics)SL-Q2, SL-Q3 (BADGE: Technics Quartz) This dust cover badge is Frequency Generator Servo so is most appropriate for SL-220, SL-230, SL-231. Nice usable condition with minor scuffs and scratches. Note that this type of dust cover with built in hinges usually shows some mild stress in the hinge area. These can get quite large before they actually fail. This cover appears to show nearly no stress at the hinges which is not common. Note if you have a damaged dust cover but the badge is still in good shape you can swap these by applying a bit of heat from below with a hair dryer or heat gun and gently lifting one side while it warms up. You can then swap the badges to a different cover if you prefer to have the original style badge for your model. Use a bit of contact cement to reapply.

This is a pretty nice and clean vintage turntable with a quality stylus, unit works, and sounds great, will be very carefully packed for safe shipping.
