{Title} Item Description Here we have a two Jacket separates by Technics from the mid-1980s, made in Japan. They were from a range of compact but high quality systems known as the 315 series. They were referred to this due to being just 315 mm wide, yet packing in all the features of much larger systems. They were produced from the early 1980s to the late 1980s. The amplifier here is very rare and hard to find in good working order and condition. In 1986 this unit was the flagship Model SU X-77. It featured a much superior amplifer/graphic equaliser than the others in the range. Whilst other models like the X-33 and X-50 had basic slide dials for the GE, this had the same direct contact interface as the very expensive SH- 8046 full size graphic equaliser! Featuring 7 channels to adjust the sound and lots of other nice features. These included an adjustment surround sound effect switch that works surprisingly well! It also had a beefed up 50W per channel, as opposed to the other lower systems in the ranges 30W. It is a very rare amplifier and was made in small numbers. I see a lot of Technics equipment on a daily basis and this is up there with one of my favourite pieces! The tuner is in excellent condition and a lovely match for the amplifier. Year Released: 1986 Condition and Item Details Condition: In fantastic, excellent and very clean condition. Only the most minor signs of wear present such as the odd extremely minor mark or scratch. Both units have barely a mark on them. The system has had one owner from new, from a pet and smoke free home and really been cared for. Details: Everything has been tested, serviced and is working well. Both units, despite being very clean already, have been cleaned throughly inside and out. All switches and potentiometers have been cleaned with contact cleaner on every unit. Electronics checked etc. The system sounds fantastic, everything works perfectly as it should. The display is bright and clear. The amplifier is powerful and sounds amazing. The Tuner picks up stations with a good strong signal and again sounds great. Great opportunity to get this rare amplifier in excellent condition.
