WHARFEDALE - Linton 85th Anniversary Loudspeakers Pair w Matching Stands. Incredible speakers- we are seriously downsizing and I have to move to the Wharfdale Dentons. The Lintons are special. I have had them for about 13 months and they have seen no abuse whatsoever. They are perfect! They come complete as purchased with stands, manuals, original boxes and even the white gloves.. They ship in four boxes and every piece is heavy. My UPS guy used a dollie and two trips. Often, the further they ship the more it will cost. Lower 48 states only. Local pickup is awesome - save money! I will meet a buyer up to 50 miles away if they are paid for in advance. Listen to the rave reviews on YouTube. These guys are beautiful. Ich verkaufe meine Wharfedale Linton Heritage in der Farbe Mahagony mit den dazugehörigen Ständern. Sie bieten natürlich auf ein Paar, also zwei Lautsprecher! Die Lautsprecher sind technisch im einwandfreien Zustand, optisch auch. Leider dicken Sie bei mir im Bass bei manchen Liedern zu sehr auf und bräuchten etwas mehr Abstand von der Wand. Den Platz habe ich leider nicht. Ansonsten klingen die Boxen sehr, sehr gut. Mir ist in der Preisklasse bisher nichts Besseres auf die Ohren gekommen ;-) Gekauft habe ich die Boxen am 04.01.2023 bei automativ und sie werden in den Originalkartons geliefert (4 Pakete!) They are in the mahogany finish and in good fully working condition, although cosmetically both speakers have small marks on the bottom rear corners – please see photographs. To celebrate its history, Wharfedale has established the Heritage Series recreations of famous models from its past, entirely re-engineered using contemporary techniques and materials. The latest loudspeaker to join this collection is the Linton. The original Linton debuted in 1965 and the line continued in various iterations until the end of the 1970s. It was a classic model of its time, viewed as a serious hi-? speaker but also relatively a?ordable. Its cabinet was substantial, big enough to hold three drive units including a good-sized bass unit, yet not overly unwieldy by the standards of the day. The new Linton has a clear family resemblance.
